Налоги, которые налагаются на цену реализации товаров и услуг, так что платит не продавец (или производитель), а конечный покупатель этих товаров и услуг (то есть население). Наиболее распространенными косвенными налогами являются НДС – налог на добавленную стоимость, и акцизы, налоги на наследство и сделки с ценными бумагами, таможенные сборы и некоторые другие. При этом налог может включаться в номинальную цену товара и услуги (это относится, например, к акцизам), а может и не включаться — учитываться отдельно от номинальной цены. Ср. Прямые налоги
